- electronic timekeeping or hand-timed
- starting and results lists – often with team rankings
- gold/silver/bronze medals and ski-school badge for each participant
- on request, bar or snow bar in the finish area
- participation of one or several ski instructors at the medals ceremony within the framework of an evening event
